The Silver Mermaid was being hauled off for repair from vandalism when spotted on December 14, 2009. It just so happens that Ms. Georgia Mason was present when this picture was snapped and she told me that the Silver Mermaid would return and be perched ON the building and lighted in memory of a former employee.
