Perched at local businesses, schools, hospitals, rec centers, and on public or private display, the mermaids came to Norfolk about 10 years ago as part of a campaign to benefit the arts and have continued to bring good spirits to the Hampton Roads area.

Hope
Hope was spotted in the dining room at Lake Taylor Hospital on October 6, 2008. She is formerly known as Spirit from the Norfolk International Airport but was relocated after repairs from vandalism.
